Character

A private cottage of its own, set back from the street behind the main house. Quiet, self-contained, and yours for the stay.

Comfort

From the pour-over kettle to the blackout curtains, every detail is deliberate. Settle in, not just check in.

Community

I live here too. My recommendations come from actually knowing which spots are worth your time.

I host the way I'd want to be hosted. I'm based right here in East Sacramento and love this neighborhood's tree-lined streets, walkable blocks, and genuine sense of community. Cookie's is around the corner, Folsom Boulevard has good food at every price point, and the Fabulous Forties are a pleasant walk in any direction.

The guest house is part of that story. It sits behind the main residence with its own entrance and patio, so you get a whole small home to yourself rather than a room in someone else's. Every detail is intentional, from the comfortable bed to the fully equipped kitchen. I want your stay to feel personal and easy, not like checking into a generic rental.

Whether you need recommendations, have a question, or just want to talk through your stay, I'm always just a text away.

First Time in Sacramento?

Sacramento is California's capital and one of the most walkable, tree-lined cities on the West Coast. Known as America's Farm-to-Fork Capital, the food scene punches well above its weight. East Sacramento is one of the city's most beloved residential neighborhoods: quiet, tree-shaded streets lined with craftsman homes, good local restaurants, and a community that feels genuinely neighborly. You'll wonder why you didn't visit sooner.

Sacramento has hot, dry summers and mild, foggy winters. Summer days can be hot, but mornings and evenings are often great for walking. In winter, bring layers and expect occasional rain or fog. Here's what to pack by season.

Spring
60–80°F
Light layers, sunglasses
Perfect walking weather. Occasional rain in March.
Summer
90–105°F
Sunscreen, hat, water bottle
Hot and dry. Evenings cool down nicely.
Fall
65–85°F
Light jacket for evenings
Best season. Farm-to-Fork festival month.
Winter
45–58°F
Warm coat, umbrella
Tule fog is real. Rain Nov–Feb. Still walkable.
